| Also just noticed (this is probably really sad) but every movie has a kinda catch phrase! For example: (ones I like)
*The Notebook: Behind every great love is a great story.**Open Water: Who will save you?**The Perfect Score: The SATs are hard to take. The're even harder to steal**The Stepford Wives: The wives of Stepford have a secret**Troy: For Love*
There's loads more obviously...maybe I'll add better ones later...
| Hey! Saw Wicker Park today...that is such an awesome movie! You've gotta go see it, now! (Or more like this weekend...) It's about this man, Matthew, who falls in love with a dancer named Lisa. She alls in love with him too...but then one day just disappears. Two years later, Matt's rebuilding his life, but her memory is still haunting him. He meets this woman in a bar who he believes must be her from all the similarities...and the movie follows his obsession to find out the truth of what happened to Lisa, and where she is now. It also shows how obsession can work both ways, and it is in fact possible to love someone *too* much. I can't say much more, it's a really hard movie to explain without giving it all away. The beginning was really confusing. Nothing really makes sense til the mid-ending, but stick with it, because it all comes together. It's ending is partially obvious after a while, but still has it's twists...a lot of suspense. The movie is awesomely done...with all the flashbacks and everything it still makes sense...I know if other movies tried it would be a mess, but not Wicker Park. I loved it! If anyone goes to see it, please bring me along, I want to see it again | | |
| Also...was in Borders yesterday...looking through a book called " You Know You're A Republican/Democrat If..." So i copied some down:
You know you're a Republican if you think a president's spouse should stand by her man through thick and thin. You know you're a Democrat if you think a president's spouse should stand behind her man until he's out of office and she can run for the office herself.
You know you're a Republican if you resent John Kerry for one thing: He's got nice hair. You know you're a Democrat if you admire John Kerry for all the ways he reminds you of John Kennedy...he's a Democrat...from MA...named John...initials JK...and he's got nice hair.
You know you're a Rebublican if you support George W. Bush's plan to put a man on Mars. You know you're a Democrat if you want that man to be George W. Bush.
*The last 1 is my personal favorite *
